About the lodge

Are you already living in Bulgaria and fancy taking a break and seeing a new part of the country?

Do you have friends and family who are due to go on property viewing trips in the North West of Bulgaria or perhaps you are just looking to take a fishing trip by the Danube?

The Lodge is only 2kms from the River Danube in a quiet, rural location so great for both fishing, bird watching and or just maybe relaxing.


Set on it's own first floor, the self contained accommodation has:-


Two large double bedrooms

Bathroom with shower and bath

Kitchenette / lounge

Sleeps 4 adults & 2 children


The house is in the village of Stanevo which is 15kms from the town of Lom in North West Bulgaria.

There is a daily bus service 2 times a day between Stanevo & Lom.

It is within close walking distance to one of three shops/bars in the village.


A light breakfast can be arranged, if booked in advance, with fresh eggs, produce and bread


We can provide a hearty homemade supper, using wherever possible local produce.
